As demand for homes continues to outstrip supply, HHA CEO, Gail Matheson, recently spoke with The Herald to discuss the issue. This includes how the current market across the Highlands continues to be pressured through the lack of available land for development and the rise in landlords selling their properties, as well as the requirement for more affordable housing to meet demand.
Gail said: “It is paramount that we address the shortage of affordable housing if we want the Highland economy to flourish, accelerate its desirability to investors and retain a resilient workforce, who need high-quality homes.”
